Philosophy & Practice
At 444 Restoration & Wellness, bodywork begins with attention.
The body is constantly communicating. Tension, restriction, and pain are not random events but signals that something has been carrying more than it should for too long. The role of the practitioner is not to overpower the body with force, but to listen carefully enough to understand what it is asking for.
Many practitioners believe they can heal others by forcing change upon the body. Strong pressure or dramatic adjustments can sometimes feel effective in the moment, but the nervous system does not reorganize itself through force. The body responds best when it feels safe, supported, and understood.
This philosophy shapes every session.
Rather than following a routine or predetermined sequence, each appointment unfolds through observation, touch, and response. Tissue quality, breath patterns, structural alignment, and subtle changes in tone all guide the work. Sometimes the body needs focused therapeutic pressure. Other times it requires slower techniques that allow the nervous system to soften and release what it has been holding.
The work is both technical and intuitive.
Years of training in therapeutic massage, craniosacral work, and myofascial techniques provide the structural knowledge required to address chronic strain and injury patterns. At the same time, careful listening through the hands allows the body to guide the direction of the session. When those two approaches meet, the work becomes far more effective than technique alone.
The process begins almost immediately.
Within the first few minutes of arrival, Devin observes posture, gait, breathing patterns, and subtle energetic cues that reveal how the body is organizing itself. These small details guide the direction of the session long before hands are placed on the table.
Many clients arrive carrying more than physical discomfort. Long hours at desks, athletic training, leadership roles, parenting, and the constant demands of modern life accumulate quietly in the body. Over time the shoulders rise, the breath shortens, the hips tighten, and movement becomes restricted.
Bodywork restores space where the body has been compressing itself to keep going.
When tension releases at the right depth and pace, the nervous system recalibrates and the body remembers how to move with less effort. This work does not force the body to change. Instead it gives the body permission to reorganize itself.
In many ways, this bodywork gives the body permission to take up space again.
The practice itself is built around the belief that care should feel personal, private, and intentional. In home sessions allow clients to receive treatment in their own environment, where the nervous system often settles more quickly than it would in a public setting. This creates the conditions for deeper work and longer lasting results.
444 Restoration & Wellness represents the evolution of this approach. What began as a private therapeutic practice under DABCMT has grown into a broader philosophy of restoration that honors the relationship between practitioner, client, and the body’s remarkable ability to restore itself when given the right support.
The principle is simple.
Listen carefully
Work precisely
Restore what the body has been carrying
Hands That Listen
For clients who value attentive care, thoughtful technique, and a practitioner who takes the time to truly understand what the body is communicating, this work offers something rare. Each session is unhurried, individualized, and guided by the belief that meaningful change happens when the body is met with patience, skill, and respect.

Core Principles
Care begins with attention. Each session respects the body’s boundaries, breath, and natural pace. From the first conversation through the final moments of a session, the process is thoughtful, private, and easy to begin.
